Roine Ahlquist

Roine joined Tufton in 2016 and is Tufton Asset Management’s Managing Director.
Prior to joining Tufton, Roine spent 9 years with the Ofer family group of companies in New York, London and Singapore and most recently as the Managing Director of Eastern Pacific Shipping UK. He has broad-ranging experience in all relevant maritime and business disciplines, including commercial, operational, technical and leadership aspects of ship owning and ship management. His experience also spans ship financing activities, corporate re-structuring and management consulting.
Roine graduated with an MBA from the London Business School in 2006, is a Master Mariner and has served in the Merchant Marine on deep sea crude and product tankers, ro-ro ships, as well as cruise vessels.
