Hayato Suga

Since beginning his career at ClassNK in 1986 in the Hull Department tanker sector, Hayato Suga has contributed greatly to tanker safety, from inspecting vessel drawings to supporting the development of technical guidelines. Mr. Suga is a long time member of the Tanker Structure Co-operative Forum, which is dedicated to improving tanker structural safety, and has served as Chairman of the Forum. Mr. Suga was 39th?in Tanker Shipping & Trade's Top 50 Tanker Leaders 2014, representing the growing recognition of his contributions to tanker safety.

In 2018, Mr. Suga was assigned to his current position of Corporate Officer, Director of Plan Approval and Technical Solutions Division, which focuses on vessel design plan approvals and associated technical support.
