Matthew Tinari

Matthew Tinari serves Senior Vice President and Head of Global Corporate Development at Atlas Corp. ("Atlas"), a NYSE-listed asset manager with two subsidiaries: Seaspan Corporation and APR Energy. In his role, Mr. Tinari is responsible for all investing, financing, and strategic activities across the group of companies. Mr. Tinari also serves as Interim Chief Financial Officer of APR Energy since Atlas acquired the business in Q1 2020.
Prior to joining Atlas, Mr. Tinari was a Vice President in the transportation & infrastructure private equity practice at Fortress Investment Group since 2012. At Fortress, Mr. Tinari was principally responsible for deal sourcing & evaluation, business diligence, capital structuring, legal negotiations, and asset management.
Mr. Tinari began his career at J.P. Morgan in investment banking covering diversified middle market clients then went on to cover the large cap metal & mining sector.
