Harald Fotland

Harald Fotland joined Odfjell in 2010 as Chief of Staff, and was appointed Senior Vice President of Odfjell Tankers in 2015. Since January 2017 he also held the position as intermediate Senior Vice President of Odfjell's Ship Management, before he was appointed as Odfjell's first Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2018. As COO he leads the commercial and technical operations of Odfjell Tankers and Odfjell Ship Management. This includes 1700 seafarers and 91 chemical tankers, and a shore team operating out of 14 locations worldwide.

Before joining Odfjell, Fotland was Vice President of Gard AS, and held various positions within the Royal Norwegian Navy. He has extensive board experience, and is currently a member of the board of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association and the Norwegian Shipowners' Mutual War Risks Insurance Association. He is also vice-chair of the Bergen Shipowners' Association.
