Solveig Frøland has worked in the ship finance sector for 30 years. Solveig is a director, head of the ship finance team and member of the credit committee, of the Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency (GIEK). Besides ship finance, Solveig has special expertise in construction finance to shipyards and restructuring of distressed debt.

In recent years, GIEK has built up a more diversified marine credit portfolio with new business focusing on cruise, merchant shipping, zero/low emission ferries, well boats and wind projects.
