Lars Endre Gimmestad joined the Norwegian shipbuilder Brødrene Aa as Deputy CEO in 2017. Brødrene Aa is a world leader in the design and construction of ferries made of carbon fibre composites. The shipyard is located in Hyen on the west coast of Norway and the company is known for pioneering the use of composite materials, first with fibreglass composites in the 1970s and today with carbon fibre composites.

Lars Endre Gimmestad has broad experience serving in senior management positions in various industries, specializing in strategy and business development. Prior to joining Brødrene Aa he served in executive positions in car retail.

Gimmestad holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics degree from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with a recent Executive MBA in Strategy and Leadership from the same institution.
