Anders Mikkelsen holds a Master's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Cybernetics from the University of Science and Technology in Norway and the National University of Singapore.

He has eighteen years of global shipping industry experience from DNV of which nine years as an advisor to the industry, with experience ranging from business improvement and business development projects to due diligence, project risk, market entry, strategy development & implementation and energy management projects. Over the years he has gained a good overview of the global shipping industry and all the players involved with hands on experience from the largest shipyards in the world and project execution for numerous global ship owners, banks and authorities.

He has extensive international experience and have lived and worked 5 years in Singapore, China and South-Korea, 8 years in Norway 4 years in Vancouver, Canada. He is currently responsible for Business Development for DNV Maritime North Europe.
