LRR Energy, L.P.
Eric is co-Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of LRR Energy, L.P. (NYSE: LRE), a publicly traded, oil and gas focused Master Limited Partnership. Eric is also co-Chief Executive Officer of Lime Rock Resources. Lime Rock Resources is a private equity fund, which raised $450 million from primarily institutional investors in July 2005, raised a second fund in the amount of $410 million as of November 2009, and a third fund of $750 million as of November 2013. Each of the private equity funds focus on acquiring and developing low-risk oil and gas properties to generate returns for their investors. Lime Rock Resources is affiliated with Lime Rock Partners, a seasoned energy-focused private equity group with approximately $4.0 billion under management. Eric is one of the founders of Lime Rock Resources, which happened in April 2005. Prior to starting at Lime Rock Resources, Eric was a Managing Director with Goldman Sachs in the Natural Resources Group in Houston, Texas. Eric received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and a B.A. from Stanford University in 1984.
