Tim Huxley has spent his entire working life in the shipping industry, initially as a shipbroker for Clarksons London where he worked for six years before moving to Hong Kong in 1989. In 2008 he was appointed CEO of Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings Ltd, the largest privately owned shipowner in Hong Kong who own a diverse fleet of tankers and bulkcarriers. In 2016 he took on the role of Chairman of Mandarin Shipping who now own and operate a fleet of container vessels trading in Asia.

Tim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, a former Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Shipowners Association and a Non-Executive Director of a number of shipping related companies in Europe and Asia. He is a regular commentator on shipping affairs on radio and television and also writes for a number of leading maritime publications.
