Stavros Gyftakis is the Chief Financial Officer of Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: SHIP), an international shipping company specializing in the Capesize dry bulk sector.
Stavros joined Seanergy in 2017 and was appointed CFO in October 2018. He has more than 15 years experience in senior positions in the shipping finance industry. Before joining Seanergy, he was a Senior Vice President at DVB Bank SE Greek shipping finance desk with an active role in the origination, structuring and restructuring of numerous shipping finance transactions. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a MSc in Business Mathematics awarded with Honors, from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance, awarded with Distinction, from Cass Business School of City University in London.
