Anglo American plc
Peter Lye is the Global Head of Shipping for the Anglo American Group based in Singapore.
Peter is responsible of all Anglo American Group ocean freight activity (safety, sustainability and commercial operations) for large dry bulk, minor bulks and containers. The Anglo American cargo portfolio is one of the most diverse of its peers covering a range of geographies, commodities and vessel sectors.

For example this has included Anglo American being a founding signatory of the Sea Cargo Charter in 2020, and being a member of the Marine Anti-Corruption Network since 2015.
Peter has over twenty years of commodity and shipping experience. Prior to joining Anglo American, Peter spent 15 years with Rio Tinto in various financial, commercial and marketing roles across a range of commodities, including thermal coal, coking coal and iron ore.
