Mr. Barrera is counselor and member of the Investment Committee of PAM. During his more than 20-year career he has had important accomplishments in management and financial matters to include portfolio management, risk management, securities research, strategic planning and government.

He has been President of the CFA Society of Mexico, of the MIT Club of Mexico and Member of the Institute Educational Council. Mr. Barrera holds the CFA and the FRM designations. He has a M.S. in Finance from MIT (Sloan), a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Computer Science and a B. A. in Law.
