Paul Lohrey, CFA, Managing Director, is currently the Head of iShares Global Investments Group which is responsible for ensuring iShares investment products achieve best in class performance in order to meet or exceed client expectations and promote the iShares brand.

Prior to joining BlackRock in 2010, Mr. Lohrey was CIO, Europe for The Vanguard Group with oversight responsibility of equity and fixed income index portfolios. He joined Vanguard in 1994 and has had various roles including heading the Stable Value Management Group in Fixed Income, as well as the monitoring and mitigating of investment and operational risk for over $500 billion of index and quantitative active equity portfolios. Previous to this, Mr. Lohrey was a US Pension Investment Strategy manager for Chevron Corporation.

Mr. Lohrey earned an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Chicago, and a BA degree with honors, in Economics from Duke University. ,
