Duncan Dunn
Senior Director, SSY Futures Ltd.
Duncan Dunn has worked in the Derivatives industry since 1986 in both broking and fund management roles, at companies including Rudolf Wolff Ltd, Union PLC, and Man Financial Ltd.
In 2003 he joined SSY Futures Ltd and is now a senior director, responsible for business development and marketing.
In July 2009 he was appointed a director of the Baltic Exchange where he is a member of the Freight Index and Futures Committee.
SSY Futures Ltd is a specialist Forward Freight Agreement Broker and is part of Simpson Spence and Young, the largest privately held shipbroker in the world.
SSY Futures Ltd are founder members of the FFA market and work with ship owners and operators, charterers, commodity traders and the full range of financial counterparties in the FFA Markets. They have been at the forefront of all the major innovations in the market including; screen trading, clearing and options trading. They have 26 specialist brokers covering both dry cargo and tanker FFAs.
