Jasel advises shipowners, banks and financial institutions on a variety of corporate shipping and finance matters, including ship finance, joint ventures, hire purchase and leasing transactions, corporate restructuring and reorganisation, shipping investment funds, shipbuilding and builder credits, interest rate and currency derivatives and security enforcement. Jasel has also been involved in some of the most high profile restructurings of Greek-based shipowners and managers in recent times.
Prior to joining HFW, Jasel trained at Nabarro LLP as a general banking and finance solicitor with particular focus on property finance, acquisition finance, asset-based lending and securitisation. Whilst on secondment to the business recovery division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Jasel also provided legal advice to insolvency practitioners in relation to administration and liquidation appointments.
