Oliver joined Transport Capital in 2018 as Partner & Head of Europe in the Hamburg office. Transport Capital is a Singapore headquartered and transportation focused investment management and advisory firm.
His more than 25 years of banking and financing experience includes a broad range of commercial and investment banking know how with particular emphasis on the shipping and aircraft finance sector as well as on debt and equity capital market products.
Oliver started his career in banking with Dresdner Bank in Hamburg. Subsequently he took over responsibility for national as well as international accounts in the Shipping Finance Team of later Dresdner Kleinwort. Further career stages included HSH Nordbank, DekaBank and Nord/LB where he served in various executive positions in the Transportation Finance Sector.
Oliver has completed a two-year apprenticeship and formal education certificate program in banking and finance and holds a diploma in Business Administration from the University of Hamburg. Major subjects were banking management and commercial law.
