Since opening RightShip's London office in 2007, David has significantly grown the European business, expanded into new territories, and now oversees seven vetting superintendents. Before joining RightShip, David was Deputy General Manager at Golar LNG. David has a strong background in maritime safety and quality with significant experience in Safety Management System recertification, tanker vetting, training and auditing, and conducting risk assessments of vessels and port authorities.

David has consulted on ISO 9000, International Safety Management, safety and quality and related auditing services to a range of companies including P&I Clubs, industry associations and various ship owners. He began his career with the P&O General Cargo Division and has served as a First Mate and Master on offshore supply vessels and salvage tugs.
