Summary: The book explains what factors influence the ship market, and how they are linked. Through five new terminologies – NDG (Net Demand Growth), T/F (Trade volume to fleet size) ratio, C/F (Contract to fleet size) ratio, D/F (Delivery to fleet size) ratio, S/F (Scrap to fleet size) ratio, this book tells how demand and supply affect the charter rates, how the charter rates influence the contact, new delivery, scrapping, new building prices and second-hand asset prices.
The book also discusses how the current market links with the market average. |
