Spyros Spyropoulos

Mr. Spyropoulos is a Senior Advisor at Oaktree Capital Management. He has completed private equity and private debt investments globally in multiple jurisdictions and sectors including real estate, hospitality, shipping, aviation training services and aircraft leasing.
Prior to joining Oaktree in 2012, he spent his career in corporate and investment banking including at BNP Paribas, where he lastly run the Greek corporate banking team, and at Goldman Sachs in New York, with the Technology, Media & Telecom group. Other stints include Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Bear Stearns.
Mr. Spyropoulos holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and a MBA from Columbia Business School, all with distinction.
