Amit is a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group for the US Investment Banking Division of Nomura Securities International

Mr. Jain joined Nomura in October 2018 with over 14 years of investment banking experience. Previously, he spent eight years with Wells Fargo Securities in the Financial Institutions Group, with coverage responsibility for clients in the asset management sector. In that role, he originated and executed equity and debt capital market financings for fund managers and their investment vehicles, and sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions. Mr. Jain began covering asset managers as an Associate with Citigroup Global Markets in the Financial Institutions Group. Prior to that, he spent three years in the hedge fund industry, and he began his career as an Analyst with J.P. Morgan's Diversified Industrials Investment Banking Group

Mr. Jain holds a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University. He also serves as Vice Chair for a New York City-based non-profit organization for underprivileged children, Fresh Youth Initiatives
