Rob is Chairman & CEO of Horizon Technology Finance Corporation (NASDAQ: HRZN), an externally-managed business development company that provides secured loans to venture capital backed development-stage companies in the technology, life science, healthcare technology and sustainability industries.

Rob co-founded Horizon’s Advisor in 2003 and has been its CEO since inception. His background includes positions as President of GATX Ventures, Co-founder and Executive Vice President of Transamerica Business Credit’s Technology Finance division, and SVP with Financing for Science International. Rob has over 35 years of diversified lending and leasing experience. Rob earned both an MBA and BS degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
