Marc joined the Carbon Disclosure Project as Director of Investor Initiatives for North America in May 2012. Previously, Marc spent seven years as a research analyst at Goldman Sachs in London and New York, where he developed a framework for integrating environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) analysis with fundamental equity research, co-authored Introducing GS SUSTAIN in 2007, and established the product in North America in 2008.
Marc has served on the Expert Group that created the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2005 and on the Advisory Council to the Carbon Disclosure Project since 2008. Marc holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge and a BA in History from the University of Maryland.
