Mr Askeland took up the position as Regional Manager, Finance for North Asia in October 2016 with location in Shanghai. Before relocating to China, he was DNVGL's Group Unit Controller. Mr Askeland has extensive experience with DNVGL with various international postings within the financial area and extensive involvement with all the companies Business streams. He has also a background within the company's extensive research activities, where the Maritime challenges have been one of the main focus areas.
