Christopher Conway
Managing Director, Global Head of Shipping & Offshore for Export Agency Finance

Christopher Conway is the Global Head of Shipping & Offshore for Citi Export & Agency Finance, a role he has held since mid-2015.
Previous to his current role, Chris was the Global Portfolio Head for the Shipping, Logistics and Offshore Industries from 2010 to 2015 and also held the role of Regional Portfolio Head for Global Industrials (GIG) in EMEA.
Chris has held a number of coverage roles at Citi in the shipping and industrial sectors, leading the privatization financing for the UK ports and ferry business and more recently helping develop the first Shipping CLO and completing a number of shipping securitizations.
From 1986 to 1996, he worked in New York in a restructuring role for both general corporates and real estate. His return to Europe included a 5-year spell in Poland as Head of Risk for the Corporate Bank. Chris returned to New York for a 2 year stint helping build a mid-cap business, before returning to the UK where he is currently based.
Prior to joining Citi, he spent 5 years with a boutique investment bank, as a lender in the Shipping Industry covering Greece and Scandinavia.
