Wednesday, October 2, 2019
Caravel Divani Hotel, Athens
2:30pm - 4:00pm

Access to skilled seafarers remains one of the main challenges for the international shipping community and China has a large pool of skilled seafarers. The Seminar aims to update you on the significant progress achieved in maritime education in China and the improvement in the quality of Chinese Seafarers, who are gradually having an expanded presence in the fleet of international shipping companies.

The Seminar will:
• Describe Singhai’s infrastructure, approach and strengths in maritime training,
• Discuss important issues in crew recruiting, training and retention,
• Update on latest Chinese governmental regulations and efforts in promoting Chinese seafarers to meet international standards.

On this occasion, we will have with us two of our Chinese Officers currently serving at reputable international shipping companies. They will share their cultural experiences on board with multi-nationalities’ crew. You will have the opportunity to engage in discussion on topics of interest to you and thus to experience the caliber of our Officers
